Kevin Durant signs $164M deal with Brooklyn Nets

Kevin Durant shook the NBA world on Sunday night, announcing his decision to leave the Golden State Warriors and will be joining Brooklyn Nets.

His decision was confirmed via Instagram on the evening of June 30. Durant has signed a four-year deal with the Nets worth $164 million, according to ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

While Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan are initially rumored to be joining him. According to ESPN, Irving will be signing a four years contract for $141 million.

Durant who will be turning 31 in September will form a formidable duo with Irving, however he most likely to miss the whole of next season due to ruptured achilles.
