Netflix's latest sci-fi series 'Another Life' featured an alien fruit is actually a rambutan

This popular fruit in Southeast Asia is in Netflix's new sci-fi series 'Another Life' turns out to be a rambutan.



The new sci-fi series showed as an alien-looking fruit is meant to be from an alien moon, but anyone from Southeast Asian people would instantly recognize it as rambutan.

Another Life tells the story of a group of space explorers venturing into the deep beyond to unveil the origin of an alien artifact.

Twitter world has gone crazy after seeing a scene from the show that quickly went viral, especially to Asian people who easily recognized the extraterrestrial fruit.

In the full clip of Netflix, it can be seen two explorers consulting each other before deciding that is possibly edible. They started on dabbing the fruit against their skin for any violent irritation. Then they rubbed on their lips before they take a bite.
