On the recent episode of ABS-CBN's "Magandang Buhay," Luis Manzano and girlfriend Jessy Mendiola are the celebrity guests. Manzano's mom Vilma Santos send an important message to son's and girlfriend 3rd anniversary despite of being "bitter"controversy with ex Angel Locsin and Neil Arce's engagement.

Recently, a video clip that was circulating online has gone viral showing Mazano's interview saying, “‘Wag n’yo na akong idamay sa kwento niya. Hindi kailangan ang opinyon ko diyan or pangalan ko diyan. Wala akong kinalaman sa kwento.”
A twitter user told Luis, “Move-on na kya @luckymanzano nakakatanda lalo yang pagiging Bitter”.
However, there has never been nor will there ever be anything quite so special as the love between the mother and son. Vilma Santos who's out of the country doesn't fail to express her support for her son's gleeful love life with girlfriend Jessy Mediola.
"Ang importante lang ay maligaya kayo.
"Lucky, you are very, very happy and I would like to thank Jessy for making you really happy with your life.
“So God bless you and if there's anything nandito lang si momski. I love you both and we love you both. God bless your relationship," Vilma said on live show.

He added that Angel and Neil's love story is for them to have and it does not need his opinion.

Angel and Luis broke up last 2016 and it was rumored that Jessy Mendiola was the reason of their break up, but Luis denied it.
