A woman identified as Nory Bobadilla, 43-year-old from Villa Santa Maria Subdivision, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental died of complications, allegedly after undergoing liposuction surgery at a clinic in Paseo de Magallanes, Makati City.
The family of the victim has filed a complaint before the Makati Police Station against the two doctors from Contours Advanced Face and Body Sculpting Institute.
The suspects are identified as Dr. Claudine Roura and anesthesiologist Dr. Katrina Bulseco. GMA news reported that the suspects were "illegally" arrested last July 5 but were released on the same day, according to Contour legal counsel Roel Pulido.

According to the initial investigation, the victim was later brought to the Parañaque Doctors' Hospital during the procedure due to complications. Bobadilla was in comatose and she was confined at the hospital's intensive care unit, but she died on July 6.
The police were still waiting for the autopsy results so that a complaint for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide will be filed accordingly.
