Dad can now breastfeed babies with this Japanese wearable device

It's no secret that being a new mother is exhausting but a fulfilling one. From giving birth to a whole tiny human, you will start adjusting yourself while your body still recovering. Then, it doesn't stop from there, changing diapers and on time feeding is the next challenge to accomplished until such time this child can stand alone.

Undeniably, mom could even mean sleepless nights since she was to stay up whenever her child cries and asks for milk.

Now Japan-based tech firm Dentsu recently introduced the father's nursing assistant - is a wearable device that resembles a woman's breasts and is equipped with a tank for milk and a niple. It has also special app that helps parents monitor the baby's sleeping and feeding habits.

The company said that through the device, fathers can now participate in feeding and help mom to somehow give time for herself while in recovering process.

"Breastfeeding is also effective at helping the parent sleep-a benefit that is currently skewed toward women," the company said.

"Focusing on breastfeeding, we aim to decrease the amount of burden on mothers and increase the amount of time infants sleep by enabling fathers to breastfeed," it added.
