The 9-year-old kid Alexa Salcedo from Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental has made the 3 judges chairs turned during the The Voice Kids blind audition on Saturday, August 3 show.
All three judges - Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, and Bamboo turned their chairs and fought over Alexa Salcedo after the young singer performed her rendition of "Over the Rainbow."
Coach Sarah: "Ikaw yong artist na bagay ung boses sa face mo, talagang sincere ung binigay mong pagkanta, habang nakatalikod kami para kaming dinadala somewhere over the rainbow."
Coach Lea: " The one thing that I like about the performance napakasimple na binigay mo muna sa amin ang actual na melody ng kanta parang pampagana lang."
Coach Bamboo: "We think you are special."
It was also revealed that Salcedo is an aspiring musical theater actress who been part of the hit musical "Ang Huling El Bimbo," a musical based on the hits of Eraserheads.
Salcedo finally picked her idol judge and choose to be part of the team of Lea Salonga.
