Bacolod, Philippines - The Philippine team brought home of total 390 medals from the recent World Championships of Performing Arts 2019 (WCOPA) held in Long Beach, California from July 12 to 21, 2019.

Among the 106-strong Philippine delegation, six are the talented Bacoleños who took home eight medals.
The Bacoleño winners are:
1. Micaela Antoinette Manaloto -BRONZE, Vocal Solo, Gospel Category 13-15 years old and a GOLD, Vocal Ensemble, Group Production, Team Philippines
2. Cassandra Alexa Cusimano- BRONZE, Vocal Solo, Open, Category, 11-12 years old
3. Ma. Trisha Mariel Pedroza- BRONZE, Vocal Solo, Variety Category, 16-17 years old
4. Kerwin Uy- SILVER, Vocal Solo, Contemporary Category 30 & up a BRONZE - World Category, 30 & up
5. Niño Fritz Sianson- SILVER, Vocal Solo, Variety Category, 18-24 years old
6. Gil Garrick Rafael Dizon- BRONZE, Vocal Solo, Opera Category, 16-17 yrs old
The team bagged a total of 390 medals, the most number of medals won by the country since it joined the annual competition in 2005.

- 86 Silver Medals
- 76 Bronze Medals
- 36 Semi-finalist medals
- 49 Division Winner Plaques
The New York Film Academy offers three scholarship to selected recipients and two recipients will be receiving a Jeff Webber recording contract. The Philippine team also won 2nd place for the Best National Costumes in the WCOPA Parade of the Nations.
