Even law makers are divided to there opinion, Senate President Vicente Sotto III earlier said that SOGIE bill should consider the rights of everyone and not the lesbian, gay, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community.

The call of Sotto was also supported by a trans woman named Rommel Espera, who also expressed her disagreement over the SOGIE bill.

"I don't need acceptance and approval from the Society. My MOM has accepted me and it's more than enough," she said.

She even shared on her Facebook account how she was accepted by her family, especially her mom who was an active member of the INC (Iglesia ni Cristo).

Read her story below:

My mom is an active born member of INC.(That makes it a little harder for me na magpaalam directly).

So after the surgery, I send a picture with caption "MA GAWA NA"
- I am a little bit nervous "baka magalit siya"
- I am shy with the Religion that our family belongs.

That melts....

Guess what ,My mom stayed with me during my healing time

And I think it's far too much....My mom has accepted me for what I am, maybe sh's not that happy but sure enough that she's still supporting me as her child and sure enough she is proud of me.

I know even though God will make mad at me...

I know God is Love, and No one can tell to me na "HINDI AKO ANAK NG DIYOS DAHIL BAKLA AKO"

God is Love, and I will always Love HIM kahit pa Hindi na Niya ako love dahil bading ako
So I don't need Sogie Bill
I don't need public acceptance
I don't need society's approval

My family has accepted me for what I am.

I was raised by such a very beautiful women

That is why I do respect the women's right, because it is also my MOM' S RIGHT.
