The nationwide transportation strike to push through Monday, September 30,2019, despite an appeal from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). Local government units in the country has ordered for class suspensions on Monday.
Classes in the following areas were ordered suspended on Monday, September 30, 2019, due to the nationwide transport strike.
Bacolod City – all levels, public and private
- La Consolacion College (LCC)
- University of St. Lasalle
- San Agustin College
- University of Negros Occidental Recoletos (UNO-R)
- Bago City, Negros Occidental - all levels (public and private)
- Tlisay City, Negros Occidental - all levels (public and private)
- VMA Global College and Training Centers, Inc.
Iloilo City -all levels, public and private
Saint Paul College of Makati
Calabarzon
Majayjay, Laguna - all levels (public and private)
Manila City - College and Graduate Schools only (Public and Private), however, Pre-school to senior High school will continue to their classes.
