Manila, Philippines - Inspector from Dole have been deployed to check different areas in Mindanao hit by 6.5 magnitude earthquake. Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said, the inspector will check the compliance of establishment on occupational safety and health standards.
In addition to his statement, Department of Labor and Employment will allocate funds to provide emergency employment assistance and livelihood assistance to informal sector workers.
Secretary Silvestre said in his interview, "This Sunday, I will personally fly to Davao City to see the extent of the damage and its effect on the employment of our kabayans".
In his visit to Davao City, he'll bring Noel Binag the Occupational Safety and Health Center Executive.
Photos posted by the netizens in their social media account, Kidapawan City and its neighboring areas were affected and severely damaged with this powerful earthquake that hit the city not just once in a month.
