Kim Chiu receives Gold Play Button Awards for reaching 1 million subscribers

Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu celebrates milestone after receiving a Gold Play Button Award from YouTube over a 1 million subscribers on her channel.

The Chinita Princess confessed that at first she was hesitant of joining the YouTube world and lost her interest on her first year in vlogging for fear of being judged.

"At first I was hesitant coz 15 sec. of IG story is different from minutes of YouTube video. I was afraid of what other people may think or how I can showcase my vlog, the first year was tough and I lost interest on doing it," Kim said.

However, after learning that several people are supporting her videos even in a very short clip, giving them positive vibe in their everyday life, Kim started all over again making more videos saying, “You won’t really know, unless you try”. She even gave her advice to beginners or even those who want to start the platform.

look what just came in!!!📦🏆. “You won’t really know, unless you try.”✨ the first time someone told me to open a youtube channel I always say “nah IG story is enough, for my hello everybody.” but all of a sudden these few people saying they enjoy watching my IG stories, it makes them smile or gives them positivity, then months of thinking finally I said yes “OK lets give this a try.” at first I was hesitant coz 15sec of ig story is different from minutes of youtube video. I was afraid of what other people may think or how I can showcase my vlog, the first year was tough and I lost interest on doing it. I really don’t know how so I stopped, this year I started again after watching several youtubers videos I realized that you just have to be yourself, have fun and most especially be friends with your camera!!!😅 so thats what I did and here we are now. Born from a reality show I never thought that I can still share my life with everyone after, aside from the roles that I did from my movies and soapoperas, having this kind of platform paved way on the real me sharing my life with you all. I want to inspire people with my videos, share the memories I had and bring you to places I have been. Cheers to many more vlogs to come!!!🥂🍾 .
