De La Salle University Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) is now the official new title holder of the Guinness World Record for the Largest Umbrella Mosaic Formed By People after beating the current world record from China.
The largest umbrella mosaic consists of 5,459 participants has been confirmed in September by Guiness World Record, after a record attempt on April 7 held in the University track oval and football field.
The project was conceptualized and participated by students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff "to rally the DLSU-D community towards creative and meaningful endeavors that will make Lasallian education relevant and accessible," Guinness World Record said as it featured on their website.
