After besting a total of 77 participating schools in a series of elimination rounds, ten schools have finally vie for the top prize of the 2019 Grand Finals of the Battle of the Brains, held at the Foundation University in Dumaguete on October 3, 2019.

John Dale Samellana and Paul Peralta from Southland College announced as the champion for the 2019 Grand Finals of the Battle of the Brains 2019.
The annual inter-school quiz bee was organized by the geothermal leader Energy Development Corporation (EDC) which aims to continue spreading awareness on the importance of renewable energy as one of the solutions to fighting climate change. This year's theme is "Renewable Energy for a Brighter Future".
The annual event continued to grow in numbers, since it started in 2016 with only 14 schools participants.
Here are the winners for Energy Development Corporation Battle of the Brains 2019 winners:
- Grand Finals Champion - Southland College Kabankalan City, Inc.
- First Runner-Up - Balugo National High School
- Second Runner-Up - Guihulngan National High School
- Third Runner-Up - Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo Memorial National High school
- Fourth Runner-Up - Technological Foundation Institute

Celebrity host Robi Domingo joined the much-awaited finale of this year's Battle of the Brains.
