Just like any other foreign football teams, who suffered travel and hotel woes upon their arrival, Myanmar U22 football team were reportedly not happy with the condition of buses provided to them.

The Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) has issued an apology to those affected by the mismanagement and vow to do better.

“While PHISGOC strives to ensure proper coordination of the arrival details, airport welcome, and transportation provisions of all international teams to their respective assigned hotels, we acknowledge our shortcomings in this particular incident and vow to do better,” PHISGOC said in a statement.

Social media are now circulating reports of more comfortable buses arrival to assist all the 17 football teams participating in the SEA Games 2019. According to Cedelf P. Tupas, who works for Philippine Daily Inquirer, Vallacar Transit and Ceres Negros FC owner Leo Rey Yanson have provided the Philippine Football Federation with the buses.

With the opening of SEA Games in November 30, this good news so far hope that this week long event will give a pleasant, productive and memorable stay of the athletes in the country.
