MayWard wishes to inspire us all through their upcoming Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) portrayal of Maxine Blanco and Gab Sta. Ana viral love story.
Maymay Entrata And Edward Barber are set to star in the upcoming episode of MMK and we're very excited! Maymay will give life to the viral love story of 19-year-old student of University of Santo Tomas (UST), because of her unwavering fighting spirit while battling cancer.
Meanwhile her boyfriend, Gab Santa Ana (to portray by Edward), has no words but love and gratitude for the girl with whom he spent 6 years.
Blanco was diagnosed of osteosarcoma or bone cancer last July 2018. Sta. Ana shared their love story through a series of Facebook posts which captured the hearts on many netizens that went viral.
The love story of the two began when they were still eight graders in Sacred Heart Academy of Pasig. They were inseparable ever since, even both of them passed the entrance exam in UST.
Maxine Blanco, a legal management student, has passed away on March 23.
“Max fought hard and I’m thankful for everything. No more pain, no more suffering. She might [have] left us, but her spirit will always be here. I love you Maxine,” Sta. Ana captioned a photo of them together on his post.
MMK has yet to announce of the MayWard episode, but Maymay is giving a hint, "Basta ngayong November po s'ya."
