Two Pinays dead at the Lucky Plaza mall accident in Singapore

Two Filipino died while four others were injured in a car accident outside the Lucky Plaza shopping in Singapore on Sunday. Eyewitnesses told that the car had crashed through a metal railing and landed at the side of the road where several people are having picnic when they were hit by the car. 

The 64-year-old male driver was arrested after the accident.

Report said that six casualties were taken to the hospital, with four of them suffered serious injuries.

Photos circulated online shows a black car on a side road next to the mall with at least two persons lying nearby which said to be appears has been pinned under the vehicle.
Several people helped to lift the car to pull out the victims underneath the vehicle.

Lucky Plaza mall is known to a home for many foreign workers during holidays, especially to Filipino domestic workers.

Minister and Consul General Adrian Candolada of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore confirmed the accident involving 6 overseas Filipinos.

Police investigations are ongoing.
