At least 19 people were rescued after their motorized boat capsized on the to way to Carbin and Suyac reefs located off the coast of Barangay Old Sagay in Sagay City, Negros Occidental on Friday at 2PM.

According to a post of Ultra Media Ph, while the vessel was on the way to their destination they encountered strong waves, water entered their boat, causing the engine to conk out.
No one was seriously injured in the incident as the local fishermen immediately conducted a rescue operation.
Carbin Reef, is a 200-hectare marine sanctuary boast its creamy sandbar. The white sand stood out in contrast with the blue-green water. Visitors can go snorkeling a few meters from the shore. Both Carbin Reef and Suyac Island have their charm.
