President Trump addresses the nation after Iran strikes military bases in Iraq

President Trump on his addressed to the nation after Iran strikes two U.S. bases in Iraq echoed no Americans or Iraqis were harmed on the recent attack. The president threatened Iran with additional economic sanctions "until Iran changes its behavior". 

He is also appeared intent on deescalating the crisis, signaling the United States does not seek a war with Tehran. He said that the United Sates wants a "great future, one that you deserve, one of prosperity at home and harmony with the nations of the world. The United States is ready to embrace peace with all who seek it."


The attack came days after Trump authorized the killing of Iran's second powerful man in the nation, Gen. Qassem Soleimani. 

Trump even boast American technology as well as the warning system "that work very well" bringing the event with zero casualties - added that Americans should be happy with the outcome. 
Trump also plans to ask NATO allies to "become much more involved in the Middle East process."
