The Philippines has now placed under enhanced community quarantine since March 16. Local government units are now making ways to let their people stay at home  by imposing curfew.

The order requires all people to stay in their homes during the curfew hours for their own safety.
While other places in the country are using coffin at a checkpoint to warn stubborn residents who refuse to stay home, this place in Brgy. Divino, San Andres, Catanduanes has  found a unique strategy. Chairperson Sammy Dela Cruz has instructed their tanods to wear grim reaper costumes, accompanied with horror sound effects being played on public address systems, to keep residents at home during the curfew hours.

The ghostly patrols started Tuesday, March 23.

It seems that the strategy is effective according to Dela Cruz, residents are now staying at home when they heard the horror sounds at night.
