Lucky man receives P5K worth of products after mistakenly asks help from Dole



This man is very lucky after he mistakenly asked the help from Dole Food Company, instead of the Department of Labor where he supposedly wants to asked for assistance in the light of coronavirus pandemic.

In a Facebook post, Dole Corp. respond to the netizen in a hilarious exchange. CJ Banasihanmistook them for DOLE on March 24 and asked for P5,000 worth of financial assistance amid the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.




"We told him we were a different Dole, the global fruit products company," the company said in a statement.


"He may not have gotten the money yet from the Department of Labor and Employment, but he received more than 5,000 pesos worth of out products for brightening up everyone's day with his viral post," the company added.

In CJ's viral post, it could be read that he messaged the company in frustration.

"Ano na?! Nasan na yung 5k namin?!" He said, and later relialized he got a wrong Facebook page where he was asking for help. "Ay sorry po. Ibang Dole pala to."




Meanwhile, the Department of Labor on March 17 is rolling out P1.3-billion financial aid for its 250,000 Filipino workers who were affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
