Marlo Mortel was happy to announce that he and the American Idol alumna Evelyn Cormier who was part of the Top 14 of the American Idol last year will collaborate for a song 'Bones' that he personally wrote.
A self proclaimed big fan to American Idol told Abante that he will launched his successful duet through his YouTube channel today, May 19. Mortel revealed that their friendship started on Instagram, “Naging friends kami through Instagram, cause I always post her performances sa stories ko dahil fan ako ng voice niya," he told Push.
“Lagi siyang nagpapasalamat at nire-repost niya hanggang naging friends na kami. Then this year, she also reposts my original songs, kaya I asked her if she wants to be my duet partner and she said yes and she’d love to!”
It is a dream come true for Mortel because really he's a huge fan for the American Idol and of corse, to Cormier.
The song will be part of Mortel's Love On Lockdown Originals, where he wrote while Luzon is under community quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.
