The Canadian Singer Michael Bublé finally fulfilled his grandfather's dying wish by giving his home to his beloved Filipina caretaker. In an episode of celebrity IOU, Michael, 44, decided to gift Minette, his grandfather's home in Vancouver which was built in the 1970s, hoping to repay her good deed.

In the latest episode of the 'Celebrity IOU', the singer explained that it was his grandfather Demetrio who would have wanted.
“I think my grandpa would be thrilled knowing that we could maybe lessen the burden a little bit in allowing Minette to continue helping her family without it being so hard on her.”
Bublé had hired Minette, a nurse, to take care of his grandfather and live with him in their Vancouver home.

“Minette is this kind, compassionate really sympathetic human being. She became family almost instantly,” he said.
Talking about her, the singer also shared how Minette has been sending her major chunck of her earning to her family in the Philippines.
“She’s really a special, beautiful woman,” Bublé said.
“I think my grandpa would be thrilled knowing that maybe we could lessen the burden a little bit, allowing Minette to continue helping her family without it being so hard on her,” he said.

He recalled, how Minette has been close to his family and how the property was built by his grandfather with his hands.
The plan was made while Minette was on her vacation in the Philippines, Bublé and the hosts of Celebrity IOU renovated the Vancouver home before giving it to her.

When she came back from the Philippines, Minette was tricked by Bublé that they are doing a documentary so she doesn't have a clue. And when it was revealed to her, she broke into tears saying, 'It is so much, really, really so much. I have no words right now. It hasn’t sunk in yet. It's beautiful, beautiful.”
