More Filipino celebrities are signing up as a reservists for the Philippine Armed Forces, and the newest on the list are Arci Muñoz and JM de Guzman for the Philippine Air Force.
The on screen partners revealed the behind-the-scene clips of their Basic Citizen Military Training on Instagram. Donned with military camo uniform, the two were seen learning how to hold and shoot firearms - which is part of the basic citizen's military training course.
“Maligayang Araw ng Kasarinlan mahal kong Pilipinas! Ngayon araw din ang aking unang pisikal na pagsasanay bilang kaunaunahang Babae sa aking henerasyon at propesyon na sumasailalim sa #philippineairforce reservist BCMT- Basic Citizen Military Training,” Muñoz wrote on her Instagram, as the first female celebrity who joined the Philippine Air Force.
Monuz, 31, also encourage other women to join as a reservists in the AFP.
“Hinihikayat ko po ang aking mga kapwa kababaihan na mag enlist. Marami pong salamat sa aking Philippine Air Force family. Asahan nyo po ang aking buong pusong dedikasyon at serbisyo. #happyindependenceday #paf #military #pilipinashukbonghimpapawid,” she added.
Other young celebrities who are part of the AFP reserves are Matteo Guidicelli, Ronnie Liang, Dingdong Dantes, Rocco Nacino, Kiko Estrada and Ejay Falcon, among others.
