Scar left on the face of newborn baby girl after doctors accidentally cut during C-section

A scar has left to the newborn baby girl's cheek after doctors accidentally cut her face during caesarean delivery.

Darya Kadochnikova, 19, had initially planned a natural birth in a public hospital in Russia but she was told a C-section would be a safer option after her baby was reportedly changed position in the womb.

The teenager mom was sedated with 4 intravenous anesthetic after the epidural didn't work for her because she couldn't still feel the incision.

When she woke up, she found a deep cut near to her daughter's nose. According to local media reports, Daraya has suffered high fever following her C-section and is currently taking antibiotics. 

Doctors at Norwich University Hospital however said the scar was "very unlikely" to have been caused by a scalpel.
