While physical distancing is strictly required for the resumption of masses in new normal, this catholic church in Nueva Ecija is going above and beyond by letting people share seat with saints during the celebration of the Eucharistic mass.
Many churches in the country are working on a plan to ensure safety of the public, but these seating arrangement has thrilled faithful. Most of the catholic faithful have their favorite saints and believe it or not they will look for their saints seated beside them.
Catholic venerate the saints and look to them as examples of lives well lived in the faith. Many find comfort in the knowledge that holy people shared in their same struggles, sins, doubts, or hardships and ask specific saints to pray for them.
The Philippines are now easing restrictions as businesses operate again, provided that health protocols are observed. The list includes strict new measures on social distancing, use of face masks by worshippers, and installation of foot baths, according to CBCP guidelines for religious services.
