Tiffany Grace Uy graduates UP with almost perfect grade point average in 2015 topped College of Medicine five years later

In a school filled with high achievers, Tiffany Grace Uy stands out. She isn't flashy. Nor is she nerdy to described. But for many who knew her, Tiffany is very modest, very understated, and very hard-working.   

Tiffany, who graduated Magna cum laude also received the Faculty Gold Medal as the class valedictorian during the 111th Commencement Exercises of the University in the Philippines (UP) College of Medicine on July 26, 2020.

But what you might not know is that, she made history in June 2015 when she graduated summa cum laude in B.S. Biology with general weighted average of  1.004, almost perfect and the highest in the history of the University of the Philippines Diliman since World War II.

In the history of UP, Uy bested the record of John Gabriel Pelias, a BS Mathematics graduate who earned 1.016 GWA. 

Meanwhile, UP's Exequiel Sevilla, a BS Business Administration graduate in 1927 earned the perfect score of 1.0.

She has been trending on Twitter with many people praised Tiffany for her outstanding academic records.

Tiffany Uy is like the character you read in fictions - straight As, studies in a prestigious university, outright pretty, has a strong academic outlook, walks with an oozing confidence of being able to answer whatever question you throw at her because she studies every night.
