Beirut explosion captured in a video during a wedding photoshoot described how powerful it was

A Lebanese woman was in the middle of her wedding photoshoot on August 4, 2020 - showcasing the city's best spots when a massive explosion rocked Beirut, Lebanon.

Israa Seblani, 29, was having an outdoor photoshoot with photographer Mahmoud Nakib completely unaware of what was about to happen. Seblani was dressed with her stunning long-sleeved wedding dress and she was smiling as she posed in the middle of buildings, trees, and benches in Saifi Square when a powerful force pushed them back right after a massive explosion.

Seblani, who works as a doctor in the United States arrived in the city to merry her 34-year-old businessman boyfriend Ahmad Subeih. Wedding cameraman Mahmoud Nakib captured the scenes as the couple and people around the area are in chaos looking to safer place to hide.

But the blast doesn't stop the couple to continue the celebration that they planned long ago.

“My husband told me to continue, we can’t stop. I was like okay, why not, we continue. I was not living the moment actually, I was, like walking, my face was smiling, my lips were smiling, that’s it, not more. Then we went to have dinner.”

According to reports, the blasts was caused by 2,750 metric tons of ammonium nitrate that have been kept unsecured in a warehouse for about six years.

The blasts has resulted to massive destruction around the city, many people are wounded and killed.
