Engineering student set up table and backdrop outside their home in search to internet access for online classes

 As coronavirus pandemic continues to cause destruction, education institution posed challenges for students to study online.

Several schools in the Philippines shifted in-person classes to online learning as an effort to limit further transmission of the disease. This sudden shift to online teachings has raised concern among many teachers and students as many places in the country are still struggling to better access to the internet and devices.

However, the Mechatronics Engineering student Joseph Andal, 18, does not let this hurdle overwhelmed his studies. His photos outside their home with a backdrop went viral while he attend the online class. His friend Joseph Palacio shared a now viral photos on his Facebook account.

“Yoww guys flex ko lang ‘tong kaibigan ko dahil nagpunta kami kanina sa kanila tapos sa gubatan na daan papunta sa kanila eh do’n namin siya nakita habang nag-o-online class. Nakakatuwa kasi gumagawa siya ng paraan para sa pag-aaral,” the post read.


"At yun nakita namin kung ano ang mga ginawa nya para magkaroon sya ng mga gamit na makakatulong sa kanya yung kanya pong patongan ng cellphone ay isa pong kawayan na gina nya para patungan at nagkabit sya ng kurtina para kahit papaano eh maayos ang likuran," he continued.

“Sobrang hina po kasi ng signal sa loob ng bahay namin, at kahit po sa labas kung magkakaroon man po eh saglit lang talaga at tsambahan,”Andal told The Philippine Star.
