Man positive of COVID-19 set quarantine facility on fire in Pangasinan

 An 85-year-old man in Pangasinan who tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was able to escape from the hospital. Then the man was brought to the quarantine facility in Barangay Guiset Norte in San Miguel Pangasinan where he set fire on a social hall.



Jacinto Delos Santos, reportedly went wild after an on duty nurse refused his request to leave the facility. Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) was rushed to the facility and declared fire out minutes later.


The elderly man was first taken to the Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC) in Dagupan City after he was tested positive for COVID-19.



But for the unknown reason, Delos Santos has appeared in the vicinity of the municipal hall . 


Mayor Kenneth Peres immediately ordered to bring Delos Santos at a local quarantine facility because he has not yet recovered.
