The award-winning broadcaster Ted Failon returns on air under TV5. It was reported last August that the Broadcast Journalist and former Congressman Mario Teodoro “Ted” Failon has decided to leave the ABS-CBN Corporation where he worked for 30 years.
He had his final appearance on “Failon Ngayon sa Teleradyo” and ABS-CBN flagship news “TV Patrol”.
Due to closure of ABS-CBNs radio broadcast operations Ted led his decision to leave his Kapamilya network.

After leaving the network, Ted is now excited to be on air and signed his contract with the country’s leading FM news station-Radyo 5, under TV5.
“We are excited to deliver a paradigm shift on FM radio. And we are thankful that Radyo 5 will give us the opportunity to serve the people with this one-of-a-kind format”, Failon said.
Failon will anchor the four-hour morning news magazine with Czarina Marie Guevarra a.k.a DJ Chacha, who’s been his long-time partner in the radio station.
DJ Chacha is hailed as Queen of FM Radio for rendering her career for over 12 years and be on top as media influencer. They may leave their long time network station, but ABS-CBN is very thankful for their service.
