A Dubai-based social media influencer who just did a gender reveal party has took the internet by storm - after hosting a lavish occasion at the iconic Burj Khalifa.
The couple Anas and Asala Marwah has decided to hold the gender reveal for their second child on the World's tallest building in the planet. The 2,717 feet-tall skyscraper has turned completely into blue after a dramatic 10-seconds countdown - revealing the gender is a boy.
A now viral video which was viewed more than 15 million times in YouTube, can be seen the couple together with their first child heading to their best spot to see the gender reveal.
Aayla wore a white gown embellished with feathers and sequins while Anas wore a casual checked grey suit. Both wore face masks to match their outfits.
"We wanted a really unique idea, something that would be memorable,” Asala Maleh said in a YouTube video.
While some are congratulating the couple for the stunning occasion, others slammed the event calling it 'extravagant' amid rumors that the cost of the lighting could be around USD100,000.

This Arab couple paid $100,000 for a gender reveal to be revealed in Dubais famous buildings burj khalifa. How stupid are humans now a days? Instead of spending that much for 10 seconds of your time, could have used that money to donate to the Middle East.

However, it wasn't clear whether the couple paid for the event.
