Actress Angel Locsin has always become the target of social media body shamers, and the latest was when her name was used as example in alleged Department of Education (DepEd) learning module from Occidental Mindoro.
In a now viral photos of the module which circulated in social media, Friday, Angel was described as "obese" under the Physical Education situational problem solving test.
"SITUATION. Angel Locsin is an obese person. She, together with Coco Martin, eats fatty and sweet food in MANG INASAL fast food restaurant most of the time. In her house, she is always watching television and does not have any physical activities," the situation read, along with a corresponding question.
"QUESTIONS: (5 pts each) 1. What do you think will happen to Angel if she continues her lifestyle? 2. How do lifestyle affects the health of an individual?"
Other photos that emerged showed the module was allegedly from the Schools Division of Occidental Mindoro and was prepared by the subject teacher named Keith Richard Firme which appeared to have deactivated his social media account after the photos went viral.
DepEd has yet to verify the photos, but many fans had expressed their frustration over the insensitive example in the learning module.
A netizen said: "NOT A GOOD JOKE! Masyadong namersonal, huh. We really don't know kung anong pinagdaan ni Angel Locsin. Baka pwedeng let's be positive and be happy to everybody. Stop bodyshaming!"
