Photographer captures eel snake manages to escape inside heron's stomach mid-air

 A surreal moment was captured by a wildlife photographer when an eel struggled in an attempt to escape from the inside bird's stomach. 








58-year-old Sam Davis in Maryland managed to take a shot while the bird is flying mid-air showing the eel bursting out of the stomach of the great blue heron that swallowed it up.



Alive snake eels can perform bursting the predator's stomach to escape digestion using its hard-pointed tail tip. 







Snake eels are a family of eel species that live most of their lives burrowed in the soft sand on the floor of the ocean.
