Offcial of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) was shot dead inside his office early Tuesday. Raoul Manguerra, 49, was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, reports said.
The bureau has yet to identify the suspect. Immediately, NBI Director Eric Distor has ordered an investigation and lockdown the bureau premises.
"The NBI is in a deep state of mourning. We condole with the family, relatives and friends of Chief Manguerra," Lavin said.
