Early Christmas gift for lucky 4,339 casual employees of the city government of Pasig after mayor Vico Sotto promoted them and increase their salaries.
According to the mayor, those who are earning P11,551 a month will get a monthly paycheck of P13,572 starting January next year.

On a separate post, the mayor said:" Mahaba at madugo ang proseso ng pagpapataas ng antas ng serbisyo ng lokal na pamahalaan. Giving our workers dignity and security is an important part of this."

Around 617 contractual employees who have been serving for more than 15 years will be regularize too.
