BTS wins 6 awards at 30th Seoul Music Awards

 The global superstar BTS has been consistent for 4th consecutive year after winning six awards including the Daesang grand prize in the 30th Seoul Music Awards. They won the Best Album Award, Best Song Award, the K-Wave Award, the WhosFandom Award, and a Bonsang (Main Award).





Although they were not able to attend the award show, but still they made sure that they could could convey their thanks through a video message.







BTS lead star RM said, “It is an honor to have won the Daesang for the 30th Seoul Music Awards. We are very happy and grateful to have won this award."





“As we have received such a valuable award, it feels like we can start off this year with overflowing strength and energy. It is thanks to our ARMY that we were able to receive such a big award,” Jin added.





Jungkook continued, “Thank you very much for always cheering us on and showing us love. If you weren’t here, then BTS would not be here either.”







J-Hope said, “Due to the unforeseen pandemic in 2020, we weren’t able meet in person, but we hope that the situation will improve and the day will soon come when we can be together again.”





Jimin also thanked the members, their families, and the Big Hit Entertainment staff, “who work hard so that we can shine on stage."






V, meanwhile, hoped “that 2021 will be another happy year with BTS. Everyone, please stay healthy.”







Joining them in the Bonsang (Main Award) category as winners are IZ*ONE, ATEEZ, TXT, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, Kang Daniel, MONSTA X, NCT 127, NU’EST and Oh My Girl.





The 30th edition awards ceremony was held January 31 at the KSPO Dome and was hosted by Shin Dong Yup, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and Super Junior’s Kim Heechul.
