Seldom to see two people fall in love at first sight, but for the couple Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay everything has come naturally. On their monthsary, March 4, Ellen and Derek went into more details about their relationship as they answered all the questions you might wanted to ask them.
Derek, 44, and Ellen, 32, who were the talk of the town since 2021 shared funny and awkward side of their relationship so far during an exclusive interview with Rico and Karla.
Well, no matter how other people tried to knock them out, undeniably their chemistry are pretty amazing. Derek answer the questions straightforward, when asked about what he can say about their blossomed relationship he said: "The great thing about this relationship is that everything was so natural."
He appreciates how open and honest Ellen as a person, “I think a lot of people know this, but yeah Ellen is super smart. Super! She has some amazing views on life which I’m actually trying to apply to my life,” he said.
He also called Ellen a supermom for her two-year-old son, Elias, "Even if she gets drunk the night before, she is there for her son! 5:30 am, gising na ‘yan to take care of her son."
Meanwhile, Ellen, on her playful answer admitted that everything about her assumptions with regard to Derek completely change: "I told him that I thought he was an a**hole before or mukhang manya**s. But he is very respectful and very sweet!"
"Very respectful talaga (she laughed)... ang tagal niya ako bago na queenless," she added in a witty remarks.
They even shared their awkward first kiss which Derek described as the "tooth" encounter.
"Di ba first kiss, this can really set the tone, make or break? Alam mo you’re supposed to kiss with your lips. But I had a very good encounter with her teeth," Derek said.
According to Derek, eventhough they are neighbors it was their first engagement sometime in January when John Estrada - Ellen's co-star in the TV5 sitcom who invited him to met Ellen at a hotel to which he said no at first. When they finally met in person, Derek recalled feeling starstruck.
“When she walked in, I think she was coming from the bathroom. You were also a little bit tipsy na. And she just stopped and looked at me like that… She had that look like she was going to stab me or what,” he joked.
Of course, Ellen on the other hand felt the same. “Ang gwapo pala! Ang gwapo pala niya in person. No, I was shocked because sa pictures, okay lang. Pero sa personal, OMG!”
