In a video uploaded by Facebook user Ian Nunez can be seen a Ford Ranger truck tried to overtake and intimidate him. He tried to stopped the truck but the driver pulled down his window and shout Nunez to let him pass first - threatened to be shot "babarilin kita." When Nunez asked his identity, he replied, bragging himself to be a cop "Pulis ako."
To cool down the tension, Nunez decided to concede and let the truck pass and recorded the details. His post was captioned: "Ford Ranger [plate number]. Halos isang oras na ako nakapila tapos bigla nalang sisingit. Para makasingit "BABARILIN KITA."
The video has since went viral and earned social media attention with over 26K shares. However, it was unclear if the unnamed man who identify himself to be a cop is true to what he was told.
While many netizens took a swipe over a rude behavior of the motorist, others commented that it was a small incident that should be dealt with without difficulty.
Nunez on a separate social media post explained that he needed to post to social media so that authorities could easily find the man's whereabouts.
"pasensya na po sa post ko na nag viral yun lang kase paraan pra ma trace yung tao na yon yun din kase sinabi ng police sa aken. talagang pag ordinaryong tao lang mag rereklamo pag papasa pasahan ka lang na parang bola simula hpg papuntang police station tapos pinasa pa ulet kay brgy hall akala ko ipapasa pa ako sa principal office or sa guidance eh. pasensya na kung gumawa ako ng ingay sa fb kase mejo trauma lang sa nangyare.. "I don't care e e eee" #pulisAko."
"So ibig sabhin pag pulis matakot na at dapat hari na ng daan. Tawag diyan lisensyadong criminal," one comment said.
Another commenter said: "tama lang ginawa mo..hindi dapat ginagawa ng mga pulis or kahit sinong tao yun mag banta sa buhay ng tao."
