Solenn Heussaff is currently embroiled in a major backlash over the supposed promotional picture for her upcoming 3d solo exhibit this month.
On her social media post, the celebrity-slash-actress-model-TV host appeared sitting on a wooden chair against a backdrop of a painting that shows a lush greenery, but it was all set in what looks to be a shanty town.
While Heussaff happily shared another milestone on her social media platforms, some people had expressed dislike about the location she chose. People are accusing her that she's using the poor to sell her art.
One said: "with or without context, regardless of the intention, the photo remains to be wrong in so many levels."
Following lots of debate about the whole set-up of her picture, Heussaff has responded politely for some of her critics.
"sorry this is not my intention at all. If this was shot in the middle of BGC then you would say i live in a bubble. I love my country and everything that makes it what it is. Maybe when you see the full exhibit you will understand what in trying to bring to light."
