Cagayan Valley community pantry inspire poor woman to donate vegetables

 This community pantry which have been set up by the Sangguniang Kabataan in Pamplona Cagayan Valley has inspired poor woman to give despite only vegetables in her backyard was left. On his Facebook post, Sk President Anford Aquino shared the photo of a woman holding a  vegetable and whole heartedly decided to give . 





"Ang diwa ng pagkakaisa at bayanihan ay hindi nasusukat sa estado ng iyong pamumuhay bagkus nasusukat ito sa kung paano mo tanggapin ang hamon ng pagtulong sa kapwa mo," he wrote on his Facebook post.




The free community pantry initiative was initially planned to give food for the people who deeply affected by the pandemic. According Aquino, instead of taking her share from the pantry the poor woman did not hesitate to give.




"Maraming salamat po , Manang sa iyong ibinahagi sa Community Pantry ng Centro , Pamplona Cagayan. Maraming- maraming salamat po ! Pag-uwi ko pupuntahan po kita at ang iyong pamilya upang makapag-abot din ng sukli sa iyong napakagandang kalooban."

The group said that the community pantry in Pamplona has inspired neighboring baragay to set-up their community pantry too.
