The Games and Amusement Board (GAB) has released its decision to ban Siquijor and some of Lapu-Lapu players will be suspended in the wake of controversial game in the Visayas leg of the Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
"GAB chairman Mitra said Siquijor has been banned from VisMin Cup & some Lapu Lapu players will be suspended in wake of farcical game that was called off at halftime in Alcantara Cebu yesterday—thorough probe will be made & charges may be filed—what a disgrace to game!" Quinito Henson said in a tweet.

The game on Wednesday between ARQ Builders Lapu-Lapu City and Siquijor in the 2021 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup has been postponed due to the power interruption at the Civic Center. ARQ was leading 27-13 at a halftime of the game when the power was totally cut off.
However, the game saw many off moment prompted GAB to investigate.
“We are awaiting the report of our sports regulators inside the bubble, to be presented and decided upon by the board in our meeting tomorrow,” said GAB chairman Baham Mitra, as there are two representatives from the agency at the Alcantara Civil Center.
Mitra has been an advocate of eliminating game-fixing since he was named chairman years ago.
