Reality TV star, influencer and business owner Kim Kardashian West has joined the billionaire's world for the very first time. The 40-year-old mom of four has a net worth at a round $1.3 billion - thanks to her cosmetics and fragrance brand KKW Beauty as well as her shapewear line Skims, and her revenue from her reality show.
Forbes saw her wealth jump with estimated more than $200 million just since October. From $780 million to $1 billion this spring, five years after that the magazine first reported she made her first $51 million.
“Social media queen Kardashian West has parlayed reality TV into an actual fortune, selling a mobile game, cosmetics and, now, shapewear,” Forbes said.
In 2017, KKW Beauty was launched in partnership with her four famous sisters and was heavily promoted through social media. Kim Kardashian alone has 69.7 million strong followers on Twitter, over 200 million on Instagram, and 33-million followers on Facebook.
She ranks 2,674 on Forbes' list, but 24th on the list of America's Self-Made Women.
The young Kardashian, Jenner has fell out of the Forbes rankings in 2020 after the magazine claimed the 23-year-old had been inflating the size of her own cosmetic business. She had been named the world's youngest self-made billionaire in 2019 at age 21.
