'Disaster Girl' original viral photo taken some years ago sold at nearly $500,000

Her face went viral some years ago when she was 4, and so many times you might see her in the internet as many people called her a 'disaster girl'.

Zoe Roth, who is now 21-year-old University Student in North Carolina is back in the spotlight after she managed to sell the original copy of the iconic photo of her for nearly $500,000.  According to reports, 3F Music, a music studio based in Dubai, United Arad Emirates bought the original internet hit photograph. The studio has also collected several other NFTs. An NFT is a unique digital token, encrypted with an artist's signature to keep the copyright and received a profit.

The photo was taken by her dad where she was standing in front of a burning house and a firetruck. Her seemingly guilty face while turning back at the camera prompt viewers to create memes that suspect she had something to do with the fire.

The image has gone viral after it entered a photo contest in 2007, and it was edited several times by some talented folks in the internet that send hundreds of memes around the world.

In an interview, Roth said she plans to use the money to charities, as well as use it to payoff her student loan.
