Jake Zyrus took to his Instagram account and expressed his disappointment to people who are fond of comparing him to his former self, Charice Pempengco.
While many of his fans have congratulated him for his latest single "Fix Me" under the Star Music, however, there are some who wishes to see Charice Pempengco performed.
Jake seemed uncomfortable now about his former, "I don’t care if you want to listen to my Charice songs all damn day or if you hear my Charice voice in my falsettos, because of course you dumbass MF, boses ko pa rin ‘yon. Nag-transition lang," he began.
"Sabi ko ‘wag na patulan mga ganung tao kasi nagiging feeling na, pero hindi kasi bastos na talaga ang iba. Okay ako kung i-compliment mong naririnig mo kasi totoo naman yon. Pero para ipangalandakan mo na ‘Charice is coming back’, and also binabastos na ang pagkatao ko nang dahil lang doon, get yo MF transphobia ass away from me.

"I am not MF okay with this. Kasi the more na sinasabi kong ‘Ah, oo, okay lang ‘yun,’ okay lang na nagkakamali silang tinatawag akong Charice or okay lang na tanggap nila ako as Jake pero mas gusto nila ako pre-transitioned, the more na nagiging kampante ang ignoranteng palaka na bastusin kung ano ang naging desisyon ko sa buhay ko.
“Lagi na lang ako nag-iisip kung anong sasabihin ko sa mga interviews para balance lang ang maisip ng mga tao at para ‘di sila ma-trigger at sabihin na wala akong utang na loob or the ‘kung di dahil sa amin or akin mentality’.
“Never again. Ilang beses na akong na-offend na hindi ako nagsasalita. Last na ‘to. Tutal ke public or sa family or sa mga ex-friends ko eh mayabang at masama ang ugali ko, so be it," he said.
Jake is one of the few trans men in Filipino showbusiness who gained international fame as Charice Pempengco after being featured in various show abroad. He appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2007, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and three episode of the musical TV show Glee,
