Rabiya Mateo's long-time boyfriend, Neil Salvacion, appeared to have deleted the last trace of the beauty queen's pictures on his Instagram post. The move leaves netizens to speculate that the two may have been parting ways. Just like the old saying goes, it ain't over until the last social media post leaves the grid.
Neil's current social media account has only 13 remaining posts, and none of them are pictures of them nor Rabiya. His sweet birthday greeting he posted for his girlfriend last year telling her just how proud it makes him to see her achieve her dreams is also missing.
Fans were quick to notice and immediately took their queries in the comment section of Neil's Instagram post.
One wrote: "Why you have deleted photos with Rabiya? Did you break up?"
Another one asked: "What happen to you and Neil?"
In an interview with ABS-CBN sports reporter Dyan Castillejo, Mateo revealed that she's confident about their 6-year relationship, because Neil is very understanding about her busy schedule and supportive for her dreams.
“Buenas man ako sa iya. Actually proud gid siya ya noh.
“Pero gina-intindi ya gid ko subong. Like the busy schedule.
“Gina-intindi ya nga wala na ko masyado time para sa iya."
According to her despite of the misconceptions that the people are saying, winning the crown could lead to their breakup, "ang kailangan lang gid namon ni-remind nga even before the fame, I had him already."
The 24-year-old Rabiya is a licensed physical therapist from Iloilo Doctors' College and graduated cum laude, while Neil is a nurse.
