Grab Philippines is taking action through its "zero-tolerance policy for inexcusable behaviors" of its delivery partners.
On its statement via Facebook post, Grab Philippines said: "We have immediately suspended the delivery-partners in question and will continue to work hard to maintain an inclusive and diverse platform."
The ride-hailing app statement came out amid the release of the much-anticipated "BTS Meal" of McDonald's in the country. The Filipino ARMYs were outraged by a series of Facebook comments and posts made by some grab riders that called the group "biot" or "bayot", which means gay.
On social media the ARMY threatened for a boycott of the much-hyped limited edition McDonald's BTS meal released in the Philippines on Friday.
GrabPH quickly appealed to its valued costumers to "not let the actions of a few select individuals affect the livelihoods of the many delivery-partners who rely on the Grab platform to support their families," Grab Philippines said.

Filo ARMYs, maybe it is better to use the Mcdonald's delivery services instead of ordering your BTS MEALS through @grabph food. Baka mas deserve ng Mcdonald's yung delivery fees more than these people. 🙄 pic.twitter.com/DcEIsrBVAE

Please remember, #BTSARMY is everywhere around the world and Homophobic and Hateful comments towards BTS won't be tolerated by any of us! So we'd be watching! But until we see what action has been taken on your end, Filo ARMY, I recommend using McDelivery! 💜
