Veteran journalist Jessica Sojo is the latest addition to Filipino personalities who have decided to halt her online tutorial at Nas Academy amid Apo Whang-od controversy.
On Monday, Jessica released a statement which explain her decision to back out from Nas Academy, saying it was 'mutually agreed'.
"In light of recent events, and after our team’s series of communications with Nas Academy, we decided and mutually agreed not to pursue the Jessica Soho course," the statement read.
"Nas Academy has informed us that they are working with the NCIP. We hope for the resolution of all issues raised," it added.
Previously, Panlasang Pinoy and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray announced that they are also withdrawing their collaboration with Nas Academy. Current data shown by Facebook insights tool Crowdtangle showed the drop of Nas Daily followers on his Facebook page.
Meanwhile, Nas Academy is currently working with the NCIP to make sure that all the issues are properly addressed.
