Pastor Quiboloy considers run for president just to debate with Pacquiao

A self-proclaimed son of God Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the religious sect Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the Name Above Every Name said he might forced to run for President if Senator Manny Pacquiao does not accept his challenge to a public debate.

In his program Tuesday, Quiboloy said he has been challenging Pacquiao to a public debate, however the senator avoided it, and instead filed a P100-million libel case against him for allegedly spreading fake news.

The pastor also criticized the senator for changing his stance over LGBT community, whom he earlier described as "worse than animals." Pacquiao appeared to have changed his position after he declared he was running for President.

"Ganyan ang magiging pangulo niyo, mapipilitan akong tumakbo para di na makaiwas sa debate," said Quiboloy.

"Hintayin natin ang Oct. Ngayon hindi ka na makakaiwas 'pag tayo ay nakapag-decide at kalooban ng Ama," he added in his TV program.

He also warned groups affiliated with the Left saying he would be capable to run and has the platform to use against them.

"Kailangan matuldukan na ang salot na 'to," he said.

If true to his threat, Quiboloy would become the fourth candidate for the top position as aside from Pacquio, Sen. Panfilo Lacson, and Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno.
