Tesla CEO, Elon Musk is poised to seize the world's trillionaire title as it has now an estimated to have a net worth of $242 billion, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
According to The Guardian UK, analyst at Morgan Stanley have predicted, Musk could even made more money from his ambitious space exploration business SpaceX.
"More than one client has told us that if Elon Musk were to become the first trillionaire...it won's be because of Tesla," analyst Adam Jones told UK newspaper.
"Other have said SpaceX may eventually be the most highly valued company in the world - in any industry," Jones added.
The news came after Tesla's share values sky rocketed after car rental giant Hertz put in an order for 100,000 Teslas, a massive electric car fleet supply.
It represents about $4.2 billion in revenue, and as a result Tesla shares rose around 6.7 percent on Monday.
Meanwhile, SpaceX is in developing of the first rocket capable of sending astronauts to the Moon since the Appolo era.
