Isko Moreno castigate Leni Robredo over Marcos remarks: "Wag kayong malilinlang sa pagpapalitan ng kulay"

 Manila Mayor Isko Moreno slammed Vice President Leni Robredo's statement against him over  Marcos remarks during a press conference on Friday. 



"Huwag kayong malilinlang sa pagpapalitan ng kulay...Ang tanso, tubugin man ng ginto ay tanso parin...Fake leader with fake color is a fake character," Isko said.





In a sideline interview, Leni revealed that presidential aspirant Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso position over Marcoses pushed her to run for president.



"I don't want to go into details, pero sa akin merong mga non-negotiables and yung mga Marcos, non-negotiable yun sa akin," Leni said.





Isko admitted that he admired the late Ferdinand Marcos as a visionary "at some point." However, he explained that he is against to the abuses during martial law.



Standng in front of the press, Moreno asked if this was the only purposed the vice president is running for the country's top post.





"Yun lang ang dahilan niya para tumakbo dahil naglaban sa mga Marcos nanaman? Paano naman kaming nga Pilipino, wala kaming trabaho? Maraming Pilipino, nag didildil ng asin, maraming Pilipino, hindi malaman ano ang naghihintay sa kanya sa kinabukasan. Marcos na naman?" Isko said.



"Bakit kailangan umino ang mundo namin ngayon sa away ng Marcos at Aquino? Sa away ng anak ni Marcos, at mga anak at kasama ng yellowtards?" the mayor added.



Isko quipped saying, "ay pink ka pala, sorry!"




The mayor also talk about the hashtag #WithdrawIsko which trended after Robredo announced her presidential candidacy on Thursday.



"Matanong ko lang, karapatan ko rin naman tumakbo diba? Akala ko ba, nagra-rally sila ng demokrasya? Bakit, yung demokrasya ba, sila lang ang may-ari?" Isko asked. 



Then Isko called out Leni for asking for unity this time, when she even left her own party, the Liberal Party (LP) - when she decided to run for president.



"You cannot talk of unity, you yourself, hindi mo nga ma-unify ang sarili mo."



"You're not even proud of your party. Oh my God. How can you...kung kaya mong iwan ang mga kasama mo, paano pa kaya kaming mga 110 million Filipinos?" Isko further said.



Leni, admitted she was worried about splitting the votes with so many presidential aspirant are joining the 2022 race.
